What People are Saying About 'First Fifty Clients'?
Estelle Gibbins, Brisbane, Australia "I have applied the information, with terrific results.
I started last Monday, making a deal with myself to have a new client
each day. So far, that has occurred - and I have ten new clients!"

2. FEATURE: The Elevator PitchHave you heard of an elevator pitch? What's yours? Imagine you are in an elevator with someone and get chatting. You have about 30 seconds to get your message across. If you've prepared your elevator pitch, you'll be ready to take advantage of those few seconds and may come away with a client or networking contact. Can you deliver your own story in a powerful presentation lasting only 30 seconds? Here is one I have used: "I help people do whatever it is they need to do so they have zero regrets at the age of 80." Or, "I work with women who are not ecstatic in their relationship, to help them get exactly what they want or deserve from a relationship." Tap into your passion. Why do you really do what you do? What is it you want to help other people do? What gets you excited about your work? What value do you give? Whom do you really help? Get people interested so they will ask even more questions. You'll know you have a winner when people want to ask you more questions, and it ends in you taking their card so you can call and schedule a chat. Mastering the elevator pitch is a great challenge and its a great asset to have. Now, I'm not saying you should chase clients in elevators! But why not rehearse your own elevator pitch until you have it down pat. You never know when your own 30 second opportunity might appear, and you'll be happy you practiced. Enjoy!
