Unfortunately some website owners think they can just do a few search engine tricks and end up with lots of traffic and sales. But the truth is...

Unless you have great content, people aren't going to be visiting and returning to your site. Think about the sites you visit and link to. Chances are you like those sites because they give you information you.

Your web site represents you. Do you want to give people the idea you are just out for a quick buck or do you want prospects to understand you want to help them?

Also, if you are trying to raise your search engine ranking without quality content, it's going to be difficult. The search engines look for content rich pages with many keywords. So each page you have on your site increases your ranking, especially if it has lots of relevant information. Put another way, pages on your site are food for search engines.

Quality

You'll want content without typos, and well written. If you host content from other coaches, choose coaches with the best reputations. Your reputation goes up just by association.

Not a Writer? No time?

If you are not a good writer or don't want to put the time into writing, you can still get quality content. You can find content at places like IdeaMarketers or AllNet Articles. Some articles are high quality and some are not - so do your research.
