I believe that our thoughts create what we get in our future, because what we think about we attract. If someone thinks always negative he will for sure be unhappy with everything and he attracts all kind of missfortune. So in order to be happy and have a happy life, people should not talk so much about whats wrong in their lives, but to think and talk about the wonderful future there is for everyone and it will actually happen, because our mind is one of the most powerful things we got from our creator. You can get everything you want with using your imagination and believe in it.
I get the newsletter for the first time and would love to hear more what you have to teach,David.
Best wishes to you and your work,
Malka

I would like to say a little about how i think this conditioning affects our relationships. Our relationships as young, curious and learning little humans (children) play such a huge part in the way we experience and behave in our adult relationships.

I think the processes needed to go through to affiliate traits of ourselves with dynamics in our earlier (and continuing) experiences can be potentially difficult. Although this is not a reason to not go through them.

I honestly believe that the key to understanding someones vulnerabilities is by looking back to the points in their lives when they were most vulnerable. Childhood is the obvious time. We, as children, experienced our relationships through less tainted eyes (this tainting being the very thing that gives us our conditioned perception in our older bodies).

We learnt how to cope. 'Coping with', is different to 'dealing with', and if we did not deal with issues and trauma at the time of occurence (which for a child is certainly not a conscious decision) then we coped with it. It is the things that we coped with then, that we are vulnerable to now. Not people but traits and behaviour. At the time we just had to numb the pain, we are now numb to our awareness of it.

People honestly believe that it is an external influence that is creating unhappiness when finding a partner or friend etc. 'Why do i always end up with.......?', well the chances are, you are unreceptive to the dynamic in a relationship that once you 'coped' with. Now you cannot sense it so you let it in.

I love that this article addresses the concept of life experience in this manner. Some people, although it's hard to believe, find this a difficult concept to grasp. I often liken this same concept to each of us being born with the same set of eyeglasses on. Our life experience continually changes that prescription and leaves each of us seeing the very same world in a very different way. These are our filters and every one of us has them. Some are good and some are bad. The way that we can begin to change our attitude and ultimately affect change in our lives is to begin strengthening the eyesight that is our experience. As we change our perception, we can become healthier human beings. We may want to add a little more relationship skill or less pessimism until we get the view that becomes us and allows us to fulfill and experience all that our Creator has for us. Thank you for sharing your version of this concept. I appreciated it very much.

Nikki Hodson

Hi David

I tend to agree, my past has been littered with the failure to attain my business goals in life, and most of this I put down to poor mental programming. My new venture of Life Coaching has given me a new lease of life, however I still am mindful of overcoming the negative mental programming from my past failures.

Regards
Patrick O'Neill

Since my research expertise is in Stress Management, I see how we react and everything we do in terms of stress and our coping skills. Maxim #1: 90% of all stress is is self-made and therefore we can do something about it. Maxim #:You cannot change someone else but you can certainly do something about yourself. Fellow women, let go! loosen up and those around you will too.
Sounds like a great project David,
Best,Joan Vernikos
