Your eBook has been emailed to you! Now, feedback…

Congratulations. I hope you LOVE your book.

Now, as this is a new campaign, I would LOVE your advice:

1) Did you happen to forward to any friends, and how?
2) How could I make it even more attractive to spread the word?

(Note: don’t worry if you didn’t see the quiz mentioned below. Some of you saw it, some of you didn’t – it’s called split testing :-)

    Hello David

I found the process simple, smooth and remarkably enjoyable (bearing in mind I was parting with my hard earned money). I am not sure the process can be improved at all. The videos are friendly and say exactly what you need to say. Great idea too to raise money for charities at the same time.

    Well done.

  2. Lukas Pejchal Says:

Hey David. Congrats. You hove done great job. It was very easy to go though the proces. Thank you for the inspiration. And of course for the e-book. Looking forward to read it.
    Greetings from Prague, Czech Republic

    Hi David,

Great process, easy quick and lots of fun. Best of all a win win for everyone, we get your book and the rainforest gets funds.

    Fantastic !!!!
    Nadine

  4. Jacqueline Says:

The process you gave for this is non-threatning and was very simple. I LIKE SIMPLE. All though I could not donate money at this time. . maybe through your advise I can in the future.

  5. Leslie Says:

The process was smooth and easy.

  6. Siobhan Walsh Says:

Comment as above. This is a repitition request

  7. Julio Loaiza Says:

  8. Sylvia Says:

Clear, engaging message. Appreciate the well-done sequence of the marketing. I want to read the book (or at least some of it) before I refer friends though.

  9. Barbara Says:

David, Great idea but I need to see the product before I come up with people. Seeing the material will jog my memory about who this might suit. So follow-up in a week and then ask me for other people who might be interested in receiving this book. Thanks,

  10. Sharon Stidham Says:

Wonderful! Very well done! The videos are engaging, you come across as warm, inviting and most importantly, genuine. The process for adding emails (I did a few manually) was straightforward and easy to work though. I LOVE that I had the option to not donate (although I did). This exceeded my expectations.

  11. Sharon Stidham Says:

Okay, one thing needs to be fixed. This page popped up as part of the completion, and confused me at first. I would have preferred to simply be notified that clicking the complete button at the bottom took me here, rather than seeing this blog page twice.

  12. Helena Berggren Says:

    Hi David,
What a great way to promote a product. It felt really good to be given a simple opportunity to “contribute to a good cause” when not having to spend a dime on a product that I feel confident will add value to my life.
I will be “spreading the word” about your promotion by including the link you provided in a blogpost/e-mailing.

I wish you the best of success with Get Paid For Who You Are.

  13. juliainaustin Says:

The basic process was fine, though it wasn’t till I got to the letter to send to friends that I saw what the content of the book was….I just had confidence that whatever you did would be great….
the email lists to sent to friends was a chore, though….It comes with EVERYONE:S name checked! I had to go through and uncheck some 770 names. A big waste of time. If you could set it us so we start to type a name and it completes it, useful. Otherwise, not useful. Also, I’d like to be able to customize the note (or at least add to it) sent to my friends. I really wasn’t comfortable with the pre-written note. I like the facebook link, which I presume could be sent in an email too. That would be much better. I appreciate the idea of accessing my email list, but for heaven’s sakes don’t make me UN-check all the addresses I don’t want. mailing lists, customer service contact addresses, etc. Too many. Scrap the import feature if it can’t work easier. Instead offer a sample text letter folks can copy and paste (and edit) which has the link in it.
Oh, I suggest setting the default donation level to $20. (I saw $10) Loved having the options of more and Less!
    Thanks.

  14. David Wood Says:

these comments are so useful. And Julia – so specific – thanks!

I believe you can uncheck all with one click – I did it. But we MUST streamline that process – I have some great plans for that.

And I have plans to add some credibility and content to the opt-in page – 54% of you signed up just on your trust of Suzanne and/or me, but I get some content could make a difference.

Unfortunately I don’t think we can let people customize the note – I’m worried about spammers – but hmmm….maybe we could test that out.

And great idea on the donation – at least $15 should be the default, and maybe $20. Most people are going with the default.

(And wait til you see the other ideas we have!)

Thanks guys – we’ll keep tweaking, and please keep the feedback rolling.

    David

  15. Greg Fellows Says:

    Hi David,

    Congratulations on the book launch.

Well done on putting it together and in gaining the support you have managed to raise from some well know identities and most importantly from the many who are downloading or ordering your book simply because they want to find out how to Get Paid for Who They Are.

Great work on promoting for charitable causes!

    Keep up the good work.

    Cheers,
    Greg

  16. Jan Varnes Says:

David it has been a delight watching you since 2002. I am never surprised by what you create next. Thank you for all your hard work and I am looking forward to getting into the meat of this wonderfully presented and creatively marketed masterpiece. Congradulations !

I also feel charitable contributions at this time in our lives is to be commended.

A lot of my friends and associates have been asking when the publication is scheduled to be in the stores. Also, when the facebook page was at work people would ask what is this “Get Paid for Who You Are” deal. It was fun to talk about all the possibilities.

    My best,
    Jan

  17. Rodney Daut Says:

    David,

Thanks for the ebook. I ordered the print book too so that your words don’t gather dust in my hard drive.

Research shows that most people will stick with a default option so if you want to raise more money, I would definitely test a higher donation figure that equals the price of the book. Maybe 30 or 40 dollars. If it’s too much for people they can lower it and will probably still give you more than $10.

    To answer your questions though:

    1) I didn’t forward to any friends because I haven’t read the book yet and so I’m not sure how much I’ll like it and feel it’s a fit for them.

    2) You could make it more attractive to spread the word by maybe putting something in the book itself that gives us a link to give to our friends or lets us click on a link to send to friends if we like it. If I like the book and an easy way to send it to my friends was available, I’d probably do it just after finishing it.

  18. Sandhan Says:

    Hi David
Delighted to receive this book from you.. like someone said above, I’ve been following you for some time now as well and anything you offer is good with me!
I did not go through the add a friend process because I am not a big fan of that, but did enjoy sharing it on Facebook and would have liked an easy link to be able to share it on twitter too…
I assume this is also a big publicity hype for you too…. I would like to know the real reason you are doing this as well as the charitable implication… love the video you made as well… great quality..

Where is the download for the book? Did I miss it … in that case it’s not clear enough!!

  19. David Wood Says:

Sandhan – the real reasons are 1) charity, 2) hype 3) build big opt-in list, and 4) revenue from later training products. Does that help?

Judy – was the disappointment because you didn’t get to download it on the site? It comes via email – maybe we should make that clearer.

    great idea Rodney

Jan – since 2002? that was my first product! At the moment it’s in the Mill Valley Depot Bookstore ONLY. If they want it – they can get it online. Just send them to http://tinyurl.com/booksfb for now.

  20. Atalanta Lloyd-Haynes Says:

Your book is awesome David. I love how it came at exactly the moment I was contemplating sending out an offer of a chapter of my (being written) book. I was presented with a choice today – to either go with drama or to choose to see the situation as an amazing opportunity for positive change and forward movement. I chose the second option…doing the work…

I shared on Twitter – the deal is great…
I love that you are collecting for charity with it. Great stuff…I do love a lot of your bits and pieces, though I do have to mention that there are often some bugs – particularly with the goals survey…never mind…all good
    Love!
    Atalanta

  21. Melanie Kissell Says:

I immediately sent out a Tweet to over 3,000 people in my Twitter stream – took about 5 seconds! Since Twitter is one of my favorite social media marketing platforms, I would love (and appreciate) some pre-crafted Tweets from you that I can continue to send out throughout the day or the weeks to come. Yes, David, I’m too lazy to write them myself. :-) Well, not really, but I’m sure they’d be much more creative and attention-grabbing coming from a seasoned expert like you!

A post for my blog sure would get things rockin’ and rollin’ to spread the word! Have any of those up your sleeve?

  22. David Wood Says:

Melanie – what a rockin request! You got it – here are articles you can post on your blog:

(You can also use short excerpts from the ebook you just got).

Here are tweets you or anyone else can post (hint – replace these links with your own unique link from the last page. We’ll also send you an email on how to get it again):

David – so just how old ARE you? I’m curious :-)

I’m reading every single piece of feedback guys, and taking action – thank you!!

    D

  24. Bronwyn Says:

Congratulations on your book David! Love that you can share it this way.
Gone out to all my fellow Facebookers with much ease. Looking forward to reading it now!
    Nice work xx

  25. Joy Says:

I sent it to the friends who I thought are curious & hungry for something else in their lives. I LOVE the idea of supporting charity while learning how to pursue my dreams–thanks for finding a way to engage people’s philanthropy on a broad basis. I’m a corporate grantmaker and while I’m ready to find something else, making a broad impact upon my community has been a very meaningful experience for me.

  26. Judith Says:

Process was quite simple. I am looking forward to the book.
    cheers,
    Juidith

  27. Rob Says:

I am really looking forward to this read…!!!

  28. Porat Cooks Says:

I have no comment to make at this point.

    Thank you.

  29. Lou Says:

First, I’d like to read your book before getting my friends involved.

  30. Liam STone Says:

I used the facebook link and it was very quick and easy.

  31. Liam STone Says:

My Personal Facebook account is under the name Liam Sullivan Stone

  32. Leslie Mendenhall Says:

Very, very easy to share – and LOVED the video. I posted to Facebook and will place the “link” into my Newsletter as well. I have appreciated your work ever since meeting you at one of the Peak Potentials events a few years back. GREAT JOB! Thanks so much.

  33. F.Ager Says:

I sent the link via email to everyone in my email contacts

  34. Roman Says:

Withholding comment until I’ve read the book. I like to know what I recommend to others is worthwhile first.

  35. Gina Says:

Loved the videos and that they streamed perfectly. I would have liked to have supported a charity that would help eleviate world hunger. I know you can’t put everyones “pet” cause down but coming from Africa you would get more support as we see the effects of hunger every day. Thanks David for being such an example of being proactive. You are really brilliant at what you do and I enjoyed seeing what you look like after all this time!

  36. Susan Says:

Process was clear and easy. Waiting for the ebook….thank you.

    Congrats!

  37. Constance Says:

I will pass this on to y friends after I read it.

    Thank You

  38. Constance Says:

I will be happy to share after I read it.

    Thank You

  39. Charles Says:

    1. passed on to friends
    2. Would be better if used Woman in Bikini’s
your a great guy dave, but most men would rather see a female red head in bikini than you

  40. drew Says:

I am hoping your book will inspire me. If a lot of people missed the quiz I’m wondering how many also missed the $27 per month fee. If they don’t see it, how can they opt out after 30 days? That kind of approach/surprise has happened to me more than once because I did not carefully read everything, and it’s guaranteed to piss even charitable people off. I don’t like how the box agreeing to $27 per month is already “checked” I also did not notice how long your ebook is. Having said all that less-than-positive feedback the charity approach is almost irrisistable and I feel you’ll met your goal, which is worthy!

  41. Shawn Shepherd Says:

The whole process was very easy and straight forward. Posted to facebook. I look forward to checking out the book.

  42. Kellie Hosaka Says:

    Aloha David,

The whole process was very easy and I look forward to reading your book.
Thank you for your very generous offer to assist us all to realizing we are all very valuable and have incredible gifts to offer.

    Aloha,
    Kellie :)

  43. Pat Says:

Thank you,David. The process was easy and rewarding! I’d love to be able to give something of value for free, generate funds for charity and attain all four levels of freedom.

  44. Pam Bright Says:

I loved it. I am so inspired, David. I cannot give anything to charity right now, but I am inspired to be able to do that. I am also inspired by who you are. I have asked many times to learn from you, and get certified by you as a coach. Is there any way to do that? Please let me know how.

    Love and Light,
    Pam Bright

  45. chris Says:

Posted it on my Facebook page to share with all my friends who are into this kind of information.

Thanks for the free gift and may you be blessed many times over for sharing your abundant wealth of knowledge.

  46. Penny Lowe Says:

Thanks. I like the ease of use to forward but don’t understand how the link works for people to find the book. Never mind, if you say it does.

Look forward to the book and being able to spend more time with my horse (and my husband!)

  47. Trish Says:

Thanks, really looking forward to the book, i am almost there in terms of living the life I want, but just need that bit extra to make it a reality. spirits flagging at the moment, so your book should be just the thing to make it a reality for me. have sent the link on to selected friends who would appreciate it.

  48. Trish Says:

an idea to speed up the address link – offer access to a persons email contact or address book – grab the entire book, and then allow them to delete those they wish to remove – instead of me copy/past each addy I wish to send to.
Grab the .pst file from their pc.

  49. Adam Says:

I am looking forward to receiving my copy of the book as any help I can get is always appreciated. I also forwarded this to 8 friends, 5 of whom I am fairly sure will grab this offer with both hands and give to charity in the process.

Thank David, from what I have have read and heard this looks to be a great book!

  50. Peter Chapman Says:

The book sounds great and I am looking forward to reading it. The process was very easy. I tweeted the ad to my followers on Twitter.
THANKS A MILLION FOR THE FREE BOOK!! I would have gone for the real book but I am not in the USA so I had to get the e-book.
Good Luck David with the book and the whole project… Whenever you give to others, the Universe gives back to you, so this should be good for you!
    Best Wishes,
    - Peter

  51. Sara Poppy Guziak Says:

    Hi!
I was referred to you from Max Simon and the GetSelfCentered tribe. I did forward this to about a dozen of my family and friends. The one thing I would have liked would have been if there were more options for forwarding the link to fam/friends from the thank you video page, such as if it had directed me back to it after I imported my gmail contacts and sent it to my friends there instead of straight to this page. Maybe you could have it direct people to a “Finished, or import contacts from another email address.. etc..? ” link? Just a thought. I have a few more people I wanted to do a personal email with the link to, but now I’m not sure how to find my personal link. I’m sure I’ll figure it out, lol, but for now, it’s sleepy time for me :)
    Thanks again :)
    ~Sara

  52. Melissa Says:

The process was easy enough, but I would have preferred to be able to use my email directly from your site (mine wasn’t one of the choices you had available). The cut and paste option was easy, but I don’t see how you are going to keep track of that.
This is a clever idea. I look forward to reading the book.
    Melissa

  53. belinda cunningham Says:

Think this is a great idea, who doesn’t want to give to charity. Was really easy to share the link with all the options that you gave.
    Belinda

  54. Irene Says:

Great idea – got the link to the ebook right away – of course I have shared on all my social media. 2 years ago I purchased a course from you which helped me propel my new business – it had my head swimming with so many ideas I got lost driving to a family gathering – LOL! I go back to it again and again to remind me of what to do and I share it with others. Keep doing what you do!

  55. Rafael Says:

I forgot! I forwarded to my friends thru Facebook and personal emails. Questions? I selected the download tab for the ebook, Are you sending a link via email? I did not see in the whole process a download link. Thanks for your comment on this matter.

  56. Murray Says:

Send it out via email, Twitter, Facebook and have the email link for the bottom of emails. All went well. Not sure about Twitter yet.

    Thank you.

    Murray

  57. Kathleen Says:

Thank you. What an awesome idea. It was quick and easy. It is rewarding to be a part of this.

  58. Verônica Says:

I shared this at my Facebook – and send the invitation to friends, per email
    I think it really cool

  59. Chris Says:

Good idea! Look forward to reading your material and passing it on.

  60. Anyaa Says:

Great idea, but I didn’t get any book !?!?!?

  61. Mariano Says:

Hi David, the process was very smooth and I was able to take the test. Great idea for the donations. I got a confirmation email for the order, but did not receive any link to download the book. Maybe you can provide instructions on when and how to download the book after you finish the process. I shared the information with my Twitter followers and on Facebook, around 4,000 people. I hope your book launch goes well. Take care!

  62. Andrea Glass Says:

My feedback is I ordered your book by taking your survey but never got your book. I’d love to give you feedback on it, but first I need to get it. Can you help me out? Thanks.

  63. Ron Says:

Sent it via Twitter. No quiz. I always like a contest and whoever say, gets the most responses wins the next book. Something like that. Great job David and keep up the great work!

  64. Beatrix Says:

Used FB,Twitter and personal friends. All went smooth . Great idea David.

  65. rika Says:

  68. Richard Says:

    Supreme!

  69. Kaz Says:

Hi David, incredible way to get thousands of contacts and exposure of your work to new people. And of course the charity. Lots to learn from this one.

  70. Annette Says:

I went through the process twice now, quiz, videos and all, and it certainly looks neat. UNFORTUNATELY though – I still haven’t received the book pdf. I will probably NOT do it a third time, but am really puzzled as to why it didn’t work out either yesterday, nor today… Any chance you could email me the book?

  71. David Wood Says:

Rafael – you can send people to quiz at http://www.thefreedomquiz.com

The ebook comes as link in your email – we’ll make that clearer.

Thanks for this feedback – helps a lot.
    D

  72. Wendy Shalliker Says:

Thank you for this wonderful opportunity.

  73. Rahad Says:

I like the general tone of all the offerings and information I’ve been exposed to via SolutionBox. This particular process was very smooth and easy to follow. Like many, I missed the quiz (was that only for the e-book only option?). I forwarded the offer via Facebook. I’m looking forward to geting my copies of the book. Peace and love!

  74. Ken Says:

It was very easy! Thanks for the free book.

  75. Dieter (BigD55 on Twitter) Says:

I think, you are just a slight twitch too slick. I don’t know, I can’t really feel you. What could it be, that could possibly cross that gap? I don’t know. What is it, that makes me respond to this “stimulus”? I am interested in the coaching business, I am 54, I think of myself as being a magician, researcher of “Human consciousness”, for decades really. Regarding “slickness”, that is for me like selling my soul. Where did you sell it? And how much did you get for it? or are you on a drug? Or maybe you are just super authentic, with no dark spots left. That would make you an angel. So yeah, I am bold I know. But if you are an angel, you can tell me something.

  76. Nick Says:

    Hi David

I wish to read your book first before I pass it on.

    Thank you

    Nick

  77. David Wood Says:

Dieter – thanks for being straight. I have shady spots to be sure! I just keep shining the flash light and telling on myself as much as my ego will allow. I think I’ve been totally up front in the videos about this campaign.

    What does everyone else think?

  78. Susan Says:

I will read your book and get back to you with feed back. Thank you for the opportunity. I did forward your opportunity.

  79. Martin Fleming Says:

    Hi David,
Thanks for Ebook and will be passing this along to other interested people.
    With kind regards
    Martin

  80. David Wood Says:

Mariano – 4000 people – that’s some sharing! Thanks – I look forward to sending you your google pin map so you can see where you gave away books!

    Irene – lovely to hear.

    Trish – great idea!

  81. David Wood Says:

someone raised a great point which I can’t see now, which was something like “I wonder how many people noticed the $27 per month charge for Get Paid University after 30 days? These things really annoy me – I think the box should be unchecked by default”.

This is a GREAT point. Unfortunately, if default was nothing – for example setting charity donation to $0, I think donations would drop 80% – it’s too easy to leave it. The same with Get Paid University – it’s too easy to not take action. On the other hand, we need to make it as clear as possible what the deal is. To that end, i’ve:

    - put “and then charge me $27 per month” next to the box
    - mentioned it in the text
    - created a whole video to explain it
    - put it in terms and conditions
    - ensured the product in the shopping cart is labeled ’30 days free then $27 per month’, and
    - the email receipt tells people again
    - decided we’ll refund any charges within 7 days of you telling us (should we make that 14 or even 30 days if you never logged in to the membership site?)

There will still be some who miss it.

Other than un-checking the box by default, any other suggestions on how to make it clearer? (see http://www.getpaidforwhoyouare.com/donate?video=true

(Did YOU notice it? Anyone on this page miss it?)

    Thanks,

    D

  82. Leslie Pogue Says:

I thought the process was amazing. I used my facebook and twitter links. I’ve never seen a more thorough internet campagne.

    Thanks,
    lp

  83. Marie Grillo Says:

Sent out from my email. have not rec. any feedback yet.

  84. Marie Grillo Says:

i will let you know how it goes. thank you, Marie

  85. Don Fowler Says:

The process was very simple and straight forward. I want to read the book before I recommend it to anyone.

  86. Kamran Akbarzadeh Says:

    Hi David,

Thanks for sharing your book with the world for a great cause. I forwarded it my contacts in both facebook and twitter. I’ll continue to send the message out.

    Thanks,
    Kamran

  87. Anyaa Says:

I left a comment yesterday that I didn’t receive the ebook and I noticed a couple of other comments from people who didn’t receive it either. I also sent info to friends and one who followed up didn’t get it. You (David) mentioned that a download link came in an email, but I haven’t received any email either. I’ve checked my junk folder, but nothing has shown up!

  88. Regan Says:

    Hi David,

Love the concept of sharing knowledge by charitable donation, and especially like the charities of choice. My only comment is that the email I onforwarded is not appropriate for sharing with my contacts as I live outside of the USA and we are unable to receive the hard copy of the book. I suggest adding a similar email, ommitting that option as a choice for those of us communicating your concept outside of the USA.

Wishing you every success in reaching your charitable goals.

    Regan

  89. Jan Groenemann Says:

David….I am excited to read your book and will give you feedback once I have done so. It will be at that time that I would love to share with friends what you have to say!

  90. Diane Says:

    Thank you David!

Looking forward to receiving your ebook. I would have done both paper and ebook but I don’t do internet transactions. I would love to pay you and make a doantion but how? C.O.D.? I know it is a pain to do bookkeeping but people like me do exist. You are missing a $ opportunity.

I also don’t forward unsolicited emails but I will ask some friends if I can email your link to them. I have saved this link in my favorites in case it was a one shot deal. I would suggest (if you aren’t already) that you include it when you email the book.

Thank you again. You are an asset to the global community, I appreciate you and what you do.

  91. Don Child Says:

Hi, David. I Tweeted it, but it didn’t look like a link came through with the tweet. With Facebook … well, since you’re on my Facebook, you’ll see the results coming through.

Cheers, and thanks. And by the way, your e-mail said “whether you’re at work or in Hawaii.” To me, that’s the equivalent of saying, “whether you’re eating or having dinner.” Aloha!

  92. Shirley Says:

    David,
I skimmed your book on line and recognized immediately how it could help our business. I forwarded it to my partners. Thanks.

  93. Shirley Says:

Easy and I did forward it.

  94. Mark Says:

First up, thanks for the book David, and it was a great idea linking it to charitable donations.

The process was simple, easy to follow, worked without a hitch (I used PayPal and Facebook options) – all in all, a breeze. just as it should be.

I’d still like to get hold of a hard copy and would be prepared to pay for it to be delivered to Canada so if you can work it out…..

  95. Alison Says:

I didn’t forward it yet, because I want to read it first to make sure it is something that I want to endorse (I’m presuming I will) – I hope that the forwarding to friends features are included with the email for the e-book so that I can do that at that time.
    Thank you!

  96. Ron Says:

    Hi
As so often happens from stuff emanating from the States – you insist on putting a State in your credit card details – forgetting that there is a world outside USA. As it won’t let you process your payment without putting in one of the US States – it eliminates the possibility of forwarding a donation or any other cash. Me thinks you’re losing a lot of potential revenue here David????
Otherwise – it was all a simple process.
    Cheers
    Ron Kerr
    New Zealand

  97. Mike Saunders Says:

I loved it and would love to have a process map/mind-map for how I can use the same process for my book coming out on Amazon next month. Can you help?
btw I tweeted your message from your landing page and it worked great!

  98. Mags Meechang Says:

simplicity is always good especially for busy people. well done. Looking forward to the book. Kia Ora

  99. Jim Miller Says:

The process was simple and straightforward – easy to follow. I posted to Twitter and Facebook, but needed to go to the email I received to get the URL to add to the message.

  100. Sonja Says:

Hi David, Thanks for the book.
Process was simple, can’t suggest any improvements. Sonja

  101. David Wood Says:

Mike: wow – maybe at one point I’ll do a class/course on this – it hasn’t been simple to create, I’ll tell you that! And we have even cooler things you don’t know about yet in the works :-)

Ron: I emailed you – doesn’t do that for me?

Alison: yes you’ll get an email with forwarding options.

Mark: Here’s a secret – OS residents CAN still order it. It’s just shipping etc is $22 so I don’t tell people – it’s WAY too high as far as I’m concerned. But enter your country and you can still do it. In two days I hope to have Canadian shipping and handling down to $16. Also working on a plan for shipping within Australia but not yet.

Anyaa: you may have found a bug! Cool! I’ll email you directly.

  102. Todd Says:

Simple process, but there was a BIG GLITCH at the end:

I never received any link to send, let alone a personalized one.

That link creation process should have happened and been embedded in the code behind the various buttons (Tweet/Facebook/email).

  103. sara Says:

I did not send any email addresses cause
    * what password do you want– a new one for this “account’ or my email account passwor– never to get that one.
*the button/link for IMPORT emailist never brought up my list. the box just quivered a littl and that twas that.

Also early in the swales pitch it said multiple queries from my computer had been received– however no one here ever received any free or not so free books.

I clicked e book only, & no month subscription. When I went to check out the hard copy shipping and the monthly were in the cart. so I had ot back track and reenter.– not good Karma.

  104. sara Says:

so now this dialogue box is empty? Did my original email ‘send’ . If so why wasn’t my name & email address cleared off along with my reply.

    Double bad Karma….

  105. Beate Says:

    Hi David,

cannot comment on the process yet as that site is being blocked in China. So I sent it to a friend in the US, asking to sign up for me, thus already spreading the word. And for the above video I got the note “video not found or access denied” so I am really curious what kind of naughty words you might have used here ;-)

  106. Elijah Jeong Says:

    1) Did you happen to forward to any friends, and how?
    I did not
    2) How could I make it even more attractive to spread the word?
Clearer directions that were already pretty clear.

  107. Jamie Says:

    1. Tweeted and put on FB

    2. Easy

    Thanks!!

  108. Ken Davis Says:

It would be nice if the ebook arrived (checked spam box with no luck). I sure hope none of my friends signed up and thought they were being screwed.

  109. Beryl Says:

i thought the way you have set it up is simple and straight forward. While reading all the comments i have received the book and can’t wait to dive straight in. i am just starting out as a Coach and am really looking forward to your tips and suggestions. I have been following you for awhile, having received your website address from a friend. thanks David i find all your tools to be helpful and straight forward. i love the idea of getting and giving – paying it forward is always great.

  110. sen Says:

Comment will be send after reading book

  111. Fateh Says:

Thanks David. The process was easy and it went through smoothly. I got the eBook. It seems quite interesting.
    Thanks again and Best Regards.

  112. David H Says:

Much silkier than others I’ve seen. Honesty up front works here, though a little more wouldn’t hurt. You caught attention with “free” but if you go through too fast, it isn’t quite free. I understand everybody has bills. It wouldn’t hurt to be a little more revealing earlier on.

  113. Ameen DeRaj Says:

    David,

Good and easy process. One area for improvement….I imported my email contacts from gmail. There were a total of approx. 625. Some are work related contacts the rest are friends and family. Having to go through all 625 and select the 150 or so to whom I want to send the email was very difficult. I think an improvement would be to somehow allow the user to import 50 contacts only or 100 contacts at a time. That way depending on what the user feels like at a given time he /she can choose to import a certain number of contacts. There were several times while I was going through the whole 625 contacts that I felt like closing my browser and going to bed. However, since this is for David Wood I managed to calm down and get through all 625.

  114. David H Says:

I’ve been waiting a few minutes and haven’t recieved my link. If it came in advance of the other requests, that would be an improvement.

  115. Joanne Element Says:

    Hi

I went through this process yesterday and did not receive the link to the book so now I am going through exactly the same process today and will wait to see if I receive a link to the book. Once I have read it, and if I think it is good, then I will donate and send to friends – it is difficult to recommend something until you know how good it is yourself. Hopefully I will get a chance to read it this time.

    Joanne

  116. Ken Davis Says:

It arrived – my Gmail filters moved it to a wierd place!

  117. Midgie Thompson Says:

    Hi David,
Very easy and simple process to share with friends on facebook and twitter, as well as a link via email with a suggested message. I don’t think you could have made it any simplier.

I also liked the fact that we could chose to donate or not … so thanks for that option!

Good luck and all the best,
    Midgie

  118. Ankhara Says:

Not sure how to access the ebook!

  119. Ankhara Says:

    Keep getting an error message

  120. Ankhara Says:

This is annoying. Leave areply keeps coming up but no link to the ebook!

  121. Ankhara Says:

Got the link thanks! You need to explain that an email is sent automatically!

  122. Constace Says:

    Coulod not access the e-book

  123. Constance Says:

Annoying! Cannot get to the book!

  124. Owen Says:

Hi David, thank you very much, I got it through email but it would not open properly, but other than that I am excited to reading it eventually. I am currently still at school but I am sure eventually there will be plenty free time for me to read it all soon. Brilliant idea! Does a physical copy come too? Only wondering. Anyhow great work and Thanks again! ~*

  125. Coral Bell Says:

Same problem as Joanne, completed the process and would like to see what I am forwarding to my friends, but as yet, no book or link to download it?

  126. Terri Says:

Video on previous page did not work. Error message instead. No email. No book. Darn it.

  127. Jay Webb Says:

    David,

You have an incredible system in place and I hope it works wonders for you. You are so relaxed and genuine on camera that you made me want to give you money and just flat out BUY the book! Anyway, the process of contacting friends really was easy. I made it a little more difficult on myself by UN checking one at a time those in my address book that I didn’t want to send the invite to. I thought about doing it the other way, but I didn’t want to miss anyone, so I was going through it with a fine toothed comb! I wonder if the import function could have selected a particular category from my address book? THAT would have made a huge difference. I likely would have selected every entry in that case. I would have liked a little bit of customization for the letter, BUT it was really well-written and not at all uncomfortable. It sounded very close to my own words. Not at all what I expected!

Thank you for the ebook. I look forward to the read!

  128. Gladys Says:

The process was very well described and easy to navigate. I chose not to donate to the charities, because I have other favorites to which I contribute often. Thanks for your good work.

  129. Carlton Newman Says:

Not a problem and not unpleasant. Clever idea.

  130. Susan Says:

    Hello David!
Thanks for the book. The process was easy! And adding value to your book by asking to help out very worthwhile causes is awesome!

I just got the book so no comments yet on that — will get back to you!

    Thanks again

    Peace and sunny skies
    Susan

  131. Nikki Gordon Says:

    Hey David,

The process of getting the book was very easy…I did it from my iPhone. I also shared with my Facebook family and want to email it to some select friends I know will appreciate it. I’ve enjoyed your products over the years an entreprenuerialism is something I get VERY jazzed about. I love helping others see the possibilities that are out there. In fact, thy was the subject last night in one of my classes (I teach engineering at a community college) and I have yet to have a class discussion that had the students so engaged! They had great ideas and I think your book will provide the guidance and confidence some of them need to make thei dreams a reality. I’m going to share this info with those students that are interested as well.

Congrats on finishing what I’m sure was a huge project and good luck getting the word out. I’m sure you will have no trouble.

    Cheers,
    Nikki

  132. Rebekah Says:

    Hi David,

Thank you so much for the book and the opportunity! Have followed you for a long time and eagerly await anything you share. I can’t wait to read your new book (on it’s way to me now!) and was more than happy to share it with my friends via Twitter, Facebook, Meet-up, email, and more. Here’s to you for taking the initiative to share your amazing information AND help two great charities in the process!

    THANK YOU and God Bless!

  133. Cary Thompson Says:

It was easy enough. People, in general, are so leary of any email received. Scams are everywhere. I hope there is some good done by the process that I just went through.

    Thanks,
    Cary

  134. Kyle Edginton Says:

This process was pleasant and easy to get through. I only picked the people I know would take advantage of the offer. I’m not sure if that was “enough” and hope it makes a difference.

  135. Stuart Says:

Painless and stright forward. Actually quite refreshing and clear.
First time for this type of thing…so far so good

    Stuart

  136. Sydney Ellis Says:

The Process was simple. Yes, I did email a few friends. Wonderful idea. Hope you give away more than 100,000 books and that you are able to help as many people through your program.

  137. Diana Hall Says:

    2 phrases for you:
    Marketing Genius
    Great Humanitarian
    Thank you

  138. Dawn Davidson Says:

Very clever indeed. I would have preferred that the addresses on the import function not be autoselected, OR that there be a way to deselect all, so I could choose more easily. Otherwise, good!

  139. Deni Carruth Says:

    David,

So glad to see you again! I’m a big fan, but have totally lost contact. I think it was due to my changing email providers. Anyway….

Loved that it was you, loved the title of the book, loved the process, loved that your videos aren’t too long, loved the option for donating (I did), loved that I could get the ebook and hard copy (I did), loved the choices and simplicity of sharing (I did). I tweeted and emailed.

Thank you for sharing, but most of all…..for caring!

    Blessings!
    Deni

  140. Deni Carruth Says:

Okay, sir. I’m sure you’re fixing this, but when I “submit comment” it comes back to your lovely voice here.

    :)

  141. Lorraine Cassista Says:

Process was easy. I posted it on Facebook and Twitter.

    Thank you.

  142. Audie Dunham Says:

Great comment, still haven’t gotten my ebook. Is this for real or a scam?

  143. Jim Says:

    Looking for the e-book

  144. ron Says:

    Will comment after i read.

  145. Angie Blackwell Says:

This was an incredibly simple and enticing process! I am going to steal this model and use it myself!

  146. Angie Blackwell Says:

Forgot to mention that I sent the link out on my Facebook and Twitter!

  147. Dianne Bilderback Says:

This was quick and easy. Loved the idea. Look forward to reading your book. Hope you raise lots of money for charity and gain lots of new clients!

  148. Calam Smith Says:

Seems easy enough…Can we also save education via more charities like the computer one? Together visualizing , we can!

  149. Joni Says:

    Hi David:

This is a fabulous way to promote your book and help others. I did send it to 10 friends. I don’t like doing the cut and paste thing of email addy’s from my Entourage to the send to friend’s form, so even tho I have more I could send it to I don’t have time right now. Maybe I should just post it to my Facebook? I don’t know. I’m not very computer savvy I guess. I also would have liked to customize the outgoing message on the email cuz the words for the ‘standard’ message aren’t ‘me’ so now I need to send out another email to the friends I sent it to so it feels more personal… Some feedback fro you…and I can’t wait to get my book!!

  150. Jessica Says:

    Hi David,
Your videos are adorable, and I look forward to playing with some new information. Good on ya, mate.

  151. Mark Says:

    Very easy and fun

  152. Svetlana Says:

    And were is my book?

  153. Svetlana Says:

Gee..I was back one step and here i am listening to some unusufull info wish is always stoping for some reason the video was pausing all the time0 The seond time when I landade on this page the video is fine..but i relly don’t want to listen to it now. I just want a book that you offered fro free. And where to find it now?

  154. Flora Morris Brown, Ph.D. Says:

This was indeed a clever and cool way to promote your new book.

I sent the invite to selected friends from my gmail account. It was quite easy

Thank you for the book and opportunity to donate to a worthy cause.

  155. Cathy Northcutt Says:

Thank you, David. The process was simple and quick. Cutting and pasting was easiest for me. Love from San Diego

  156. Nicola Masters Says:

    Hi there,

Love what you are doing. Very simple process with succinct messages. Forwarded to friends via Facebook. Keep doing what you are doing and thank you for being you.

    SMiles and RaInBows
    Nicola

  157. Linda Maine Says:

Wow! what a concept! My you and all the YOUs who use your book have much success while contributing to charities as well.

  158. Carrie Says:

Thank you for the offer and opportunity to donate. I did not pass this on to anyone because no one in my circle of friends has the desire to share their passion as I do.

  159. Oun Says:

To have someone donate to decide is one thing, but to have a chance come back to donate might be better.

  160. Dennis Monks Says:

It was easy to send out the invites. I sent it to all people in my Email and also sent it out to all my contacts on twitter ( over 2000 fallowers ). I beleave in giveing everyone the opertunity to get books and to read.. I hope my sending out the invites helps you to reaching your goal…

    Dennis Monks AKA Shadowalker

  161. George Marquewz Says:

Great offer but if I could return at a later time it would be much better as I dont have the funds to donate at this time.

  162. Debra Says:

I found the process quite simple. I do hope my friends take advantage of this offer. And it will be interesting to see how many respond.

  163. Jerry Waxman Says:

Excellent idea! The process was simple. I pasted the link on notepad. Went to email to download and look at the book before recommending to others, which I did. It will be great to see how many take up the offer, and how much money goes to the two charities.

  164. Miriam Oliphant Says:

I look forward to reading the book! If I like it, I will definitely share it, as I know many who would be interested. Thanks!

  165. Patrick Welcome Says:

I will check out book and if this is on the “level” then will make the donation, I assume there is a facility to do so

  166. Jazmin Rain Says:

I use a screen reader because I’m blind and it was accessible. Well done!

  167. Leagh H Says:

I sent it to several friends thru gmail. Hope they like it….

  168. Allen Whitford Says:

I lost my internet connection- so I did not get your book or send it to anybody

  169. Lynn Fraley Says:

This all looks great, and I came back to have this offer sent to some friends. This is done so beautifully, and attractively .. what I didn’t care for was the oh-you-need-to-create-some-referrals-to-get-the-best-chapter part. Of course I understand the point of having an incentive, but right after I made a donation and paid for shipping, I find out I’m one chapter short :-( Whatever. I’ll live. The book does look great, and your site and system are superb. Brilliant, really.

  170. Nancy Says:

I look forward to new ideas for growth.

  171. Laura Says:

I sent this out to over 20 people when I first watched you. Then I registered and saw that you asked for their emails. It was too late. My list is out. I’ll just have to see what happens and what they say back to me. Thanks for being so caring. I’m one of 100 Ambassadors for Pitchin (a new social network for business and charity) that will launch this summer. Great idea David. If you’d want more info on Pitchin one of the founders is Scott Magers. His site is scottmagers.com. You are both on the same page. Thank you again.

  172. Cedric Says:

Will comment after I read the book

  173. Ignacio Says:

    The process was easy.

  174. Gustav Gropp Says:

Thanks, sending the message to my friends went smoothly and the process is logical, well done.

  175. Cristine Says:

your programs are all so PC centred… what about Mac users who don’t run parallel programmes?
Great idea keep up great work, but i can’t bug my friends!

  176. David Wood Says:

Hi guys – the ebook comes via email. I’ll make that clearer on the video. Thanks :-)

  177. peter birkett Says:

I would prefere to read book before I send it on to someone

  178. David Wood Says:

Ameen – loved that comment ‘since this was for David Wood I got through all 625 friends….’ lol
Hopefully this is ~also~ for them, you, trees & kids :-)

  179. David Wood Says:

nicely said David. So far no-one has gone through ‘too fast’. Some got the shopping cart and made adjustments, so all good to date.

  180. David Wood Says:

sara – sorry the physical book ended up in your cart. Haven’t been able to reproduce that error and so far haven’t heard of anyone else with this (4,500 people through it so far).

  181. David Wood Says:

Todd – you’re right. Sorry about that. We’ve fixed the glitch I believe and now unique links are embedded in the code.

  182. Marike van Breugel Says:

Hi David… love what you’re doing and your approach. Why didn’t I pass the offer to my friends today? Post Easter (western banks shut) and now Thai New Year (Thai banks shut) just waiting on funds to move into my Paypal aacount…. credit cards from Thailand are problematic. Essentially I’d like to (a) read the e-book first (what a fab Thai New Year gift!) and (b) then be able to come back later and share it to people who matter….. :) So given that I’m super busy, can you put me on your “nag” list for follow up in about 10 days time? :) Wishing you phenomenal success.

  183. victoria Says:

    Hi,
I tried to share on facebook to let friends know about the free book, but as i don’t have a website and it asked me for an address to display, I had no idea what to do. Perhaps you could leave some information on there for people like myself who don’t realise you already need to have a website address set up to share on facebook? Or, if you don’t have to have a website, but can still share on facebook….how to do it.
    Thank you.

  184. Fabio Says:

I will forward it to a few selected friends if I like it once I have read it. Even though the first impression is very good, I would not recommend anything to my friends without trying it first myself.

I saved the referral link for this reason.

    Thank you very much,

    fab

  185. Chuck Says:

First, I’d like to read your book before getting my friends involved.

  186. Chuck Says:

Even though the first impression is very good, I would not recommend anything to my friends without trying it first myself.

  187. Chuck Says:

I would not recommend anything to my friends without trying it first myself.

  188. Chuck Says:

I saved the referral link for this reason.

    Thank you very much,

  189. Eva Says:

    Hi,
I have recommended the book to some of my friends trusting my gut feeling and the book title but it´s true that it would be better to recommend it after having read it in order not to loose trust from your friends for next proposals.

Anyway, thanks for a great idea. I would let you know about the book once I will have read it.

    All the best,
    eva

  190. Stan Says:

don’t want to do this right now. I have not read the book so have no way to know if i want to recommend it

  191. Stan Says:

don’t want to do this, it’s difficult and cheeky to ask someone to recommend something they don’t know much about

  192. Stan Says:

No, won’t do this right now. I feel duped.

  193. Cindy Says:

    Hi David,

Thank you so much for your wonderful work. This book is exactly what I needed at this point in my life. I love how you put it out there, giving it away in exchange for a donation to wonderful causes. I instantly forwarded it to all of my friends. Your offer gives me a very warm, loving feeling and I’m proud to be a part of it.

    Love,
    Cindy

  194. shirley Says:

    wait until I read it

  195. Dannella Burnett Says:

Looking forward to reading the book, I’ve always loved the way you think and the way you write!

I tweeted the link – very easy! Also going to send a shout out to a few folks that I know will really appreciate it!

Keep up the great work and living your life with such passion and purpose!
    Dannella

  196. KATHLEEN Says:

Thank you so much David for making the alternative to “paying it forward” available. As my disability hasn’t brought funds my way, I am hoping to see the light bulb go off for me to change that situation after reading your book.

    Namaste
    SUNSPIRITSMILES

  197. Andre Beauchesne Says:

Hi David, Thank you for your free book. I have sent your invitation to all my email contacts. Take care, and great luck with your charities,by giving away
    your book.

here Get Paid for Who You Are Book

Author David Wood Slashes gives away his book for free.

Thank you for the book, would appreciate the “secret” chapter very much. Thanks and which you tons of success with this project. Marina

  201. Gregg Says:

I love the free book idea and gave to the free laptop program. However, I must have missed the download page, so I haven’t gotten the book.

I haven’t been exposed to any of your info yet so I hope you’ll appreciate my honest opinion of the process so far…

I find it a bit irritating to buy a product (or make a donation) and then before you’re able to get the product you’re pitched with a bunch of other stuff.

I know it’s because you believe in your product, you want to spread the word and even though it does irritate some people, it’s been proven to drive more sales.

Our time is our most precious resource, and I’m not going to email my friends and recommend something I know nothing about yet.

    My honest opinion.
    Sincerely,
    Gregg

  203. Jenny Says:

The process is fine but I am assuming I can not get the e-book unless I fill this out. That is making this alittle confusing. I would like to see the book first before I forward the information to my friends. Thank you for all you all doing to make a difference.

  204. Colette Says:

Hi, the process was easy, sent the email to my friends through your application, that was easy to.
Loved the presentation videos, liked the softness of voice, casual chatting etc. it didn’t feel like a hard sell & the passion for your great idea came across quickly – no long winded promos, suited me just fine :-) thanks for the options of free or donation & Best Wishes for the project.

  205. Dana Says:

    Hi David,
Shared your offer on our Facebook page today. (Personal and Business) as well as Twitter. I ordered both the e-book and hard copy because I love books and really like the “Copy in my hands”.
Really looking forward to reading it.

Regarding the “checked and default boxes”.
I did notice, and did make adjustments, however I felt it was not hidden at all. In this day we tend to be so rushed we can miss things. I usually read things twice, to make sure..
I have been on other sites where it was worded so that you felt tricked. This site did not make me feel that way.
Great experience, great products. Straightforward and informative.

    Thank you.

  206. littleir Says:

If you haven’t figured it out yet, he will email you a link to the book for download. Check your email!

This was very easy and I shared using the FB link and Twitter link. Thank you!

  208. J.S. Alleva Says:

Wow! Looks like you’re going to reach your goal, David – what a feedback list! I, too, found your process completely enjoyable, heartfelt and sincere. I did tell my friends via Twitter and Facebook, and think you covered the best options for doing so! All the best to you. Can’t wait to read the book! (and thank you for offering these wonderful charities!)

  214. Trenda Says:

You are the best- Thank U!

  215. Trenda Says:

YOU ARE THE BEST- THANK U-!

  216. Melody Says:

The reason I didn’t send to friends is because I couldn’t pick which friends in my emails to send. It would not be appropriate to send to some of them. Thanks

  217. JR Says:

I went through the process and made a donation. How do I get my book?

  218. Bobbi Says:

Process was short and sweet. Can’t forward to my friends until I know what it is first. Just a little quirkey that way. But if it is anything, all of my friends will know about in a very short time.

  219. Margaret Says:

I clicked the link to post to Facebook, and it appeared to work, but when I went to my facebook page the post was not there. It would be nice if that actually worked. I also tried to type into the box to put a note on it before clicking the link that was supposed to post it and it was not possible to type in that box – nice idea but nicer if it actually worked.

  220. rev.David Says:

Well Done! Hoping this will work to mutual advantage!
    Simple, and hideously easy…!

  221. neil Says:

the process is very simple and I think this is a brilliant way to get the book out there. I wish you all success in getting paid for who you are!

  224. Kay Says:

Very interesting way to market a product. I want to read the book befor I share it with my friends.

  225. Margaret Says:

How do we access the e-book?

  226. Kay Says:

I will read the book and then, if it is all you say it is I will donate to one of the charities and share it with my friends.

  227. Renee Heimerman Says:

What a great idea! I am going to use this idea later when I am established and have more to give. I just released my first product so I need to come up with a new one for this charatible gift. Thanks so much for my copy. Good luck!

Not sure where the link is for book! Sounds great!

  232. Katie Says:

  233. Helen Says:

I am not using the recommended @ sites. I put in other and tried to do the email thing. It asked for my name, which I put in, then my email address, which I put in, then my password. I do not have a password for you site and I did not want to put in the one I use for me email address.
Because of this it would not let me add names and addresses.

  234. Pamela Says:

Hi David, I received this offer from Bill Harris:) I choose the last option for a more personalized touch. I wrote a short message in my emails suggesting that if they could not use the book to forward the information to someone that could. Never occurred to me check out the book first. LOL:) At least in that all went smoothly. However, I could not make a donation. It kept saying my new card had expired. I’ll look over the material and let you know how it goes. See you out there. ~Namaste~ Kiss:)

Thanks for the book and I found the process very simple.
    Thanks again!

  261. L Says:

I would like to see the book before I forward it on to friends or advertise. I find the process tedious of going from one site to the next and giving my email away and then discovering although it’s not published I’m getting hyped for much else…

I appreciate the content of the book and you seem like a great human being.

  262. Laurie Sain Says:

I’m interested in what you have to say, but I want to read it first before I send it on to friends. If I think they will find it valuable, I’ll send it on.

    Laurie

  263. L Says:

I have done what you’ve asked and the comments page just keeps coming back again and again and I still don’t have access to the book.

I was going to submit each name by typing in their names on the form …. had one completed and wanted to submit more but the next page (this one) came up. I am not on facebook and didn’t want to import my address book … many names I wasn’t going to use since it’s not just friends on my list.

  266. Zane Says:

I haven’t forwarded to anyone yet. I need to read it first. Thanks.

    let it be

  269. Tony Says:

Hi David. Very interested in reading the book. I have just finished writing my first book, and starting the process of getting it published. I also have blog (website balove), and a ton of contacts throughout the US through my years in the banking world. I would love to share this with folks, as the charity is an awesome idea. However, I would like to read the book first. I ordered a paper copy. I am going to peruse your website some more to see where there might be some additional synergies. Stay well……Tony

  270. Mary Loucks Says:

    David,

I am pleased to have the opportunity to share something lovely like your book with my associates and help others in the interim.

The process was simple enough for Twitter and Facebook; however, I did not import my e-mail contacts to your webpage as many of them are business contacts or those who have reqested I do not send superfluous e-mails to them, and I wasn’t sure if I would have the opportunity to delete specific e-mails after importing the list. As I am uncomfortable providing ANY of my family, friends or associates e-mails in the first place, I would prefer to have the opportunity to enter only those I know wouldn’t mind my doing so.

I have been an advocate of ‘One Laptop Per Child’ ever since I heard MIT’s Nicholas Negroponte talk (on TED) about his intentions to distribute such to the children in 3rd world countries. Many people attacked his idea, saying the children needed food more than a laptop, but I don’t see how one compares with the other. I still believe ‘Give a man a fish and he eats for a day… teach a man to fish and he’ll eat for a lifetime.’

By the way, have you also considered making http://www.heifer.org one of your charities to donate to? If people donate money to purchase one heifer for a family, it is comparable to giving them a small business, and can help them rise above the abject poverty level. In some cases, it has produced miraculous results for families.

Thank you for being who you are.

    Mary Loucks

  271. Carmen Says:

    David,

Thank you for giving me access to your book for free.
I went through the process and I still don’t have access to the book. Any suggestions?

    Thanks,
    Carmen

  272. Lanceman Says:

I am saying Let it Be, acceptance of what is; If you must have a comment then I will say this; try it then evaluate it, willingness to do something first before making a decision about what I am willing to do. thank you for understanding my comment ……..Lanceman

  273. Guillermo Says:

David the rain forest of Chiapas is losing daily about some hundreds of hectáreas. This government has not done anything to stop it. Do you have someone to contact in México? If so I would in a tiny way help to stop this depredation.

  289. Anita Says:

    David,
You had me hooked right with the title of your book. This is my own personal story and have been looking for ways to do what I love to do while making money doing it but more so helping a lot of people by simply being Me. Last year I had an idea of how I could do just that, follow my passion while helping a ton of people so I founded a non profit Art of Giving Inc to empower disadvantaged communities throughout the world through art, dance, music, film and ecotours. So even though the basic business model is ready I am still needing help, resources and money to make all this happen. We already have 2 international projects that are waiting to get started up so your book has come at the right time with it’s promise of providing solutions and answers. Am excited to read your book and stay in touch with you and your organization. I have posted the link on my facebook account and will post it on our non profits fan page as well. Thank you for your work

  290. Frank Hays Says:

Couldn’t make the e-mail it yourself button work. There were selected people I would love to send it to but I have mobile-me and couldn’t use to top button option either. Soooooooo two of the options didn’t work for me. I did put it out on Facebook which I liked doing because my friends can self select. I suggested we do an on-line book club around it…!! Be fun!! So we’ll see~
Love your generous spirit David and out of the box marketing! I am a certified Dream Coach through Dream University and totally get how necessary it is to live your life from your purpose. Can’t wait to read the book!! Thank you and Good Luck~

  302. Lynn Says:

I still have not received my book, how long does it take?

  303. Petra Says:

The process was easy. I posted it on my FB page. As some others have mentioned, I’d rather see the product first before recommending it, but I posted it anyway.

  304. Glenn Says:

    Hello,
I could not access your automated address selection process. If you gave me an option to simply type friend’s addresses, I would have done that when plan A didn’t work. Open to suggestions on how send you some addresses for the free book. Thanks.

I’m sue who I am is the most important quality I have to bring to life, so getting paid for that is simply genious. I sent to many people, some I see quite frequently and some I haven’t seen or thought of for years. It will be interesting to see the responses. Thanks for writing the book. It’s living from the inside out.

  314. Dale Says:

  323. Michael Says:

    Hello,

Thank you for this generous and innovative promotion. Personally, I copied your link for inclusion in future e-mails and facebook posting pending my reading the book and feeling that it is appropriate for my friends. Your process was indeed very fluid and easy to follow. I couldn’t imagine an addition to improve it except, maybe having a “button” to press to preview a few minutes of the book on an earlier screen.

    Thanks agian!

Your generous offer was posted on my Facebook profile. That process was easy too.

Kudos to you. Keep up the good work!

apart from that found process professional and as mentioned above ‘smooth’ :-) ) cheers – looking forward to receiving the book ( and hopefully the ‘secret chapter’ :-)

this kind of thing is in itself part of a phenomenal virus

  347. Michele Says:

Very nice combination of product promotion and cause marketing. Well done.

  348. Leah Says:

I liked how simple the process was to post to my Facebook page.

  349. chuck Says:

thank you so much ..love this! ..

  350. Larry Says:

This is a vary good promotion. I need to read it before I send it out to anyone that I know. Put me on your list for future emails from you. I do not have any money at this time.

  351. Larry Says:

    I left a coment.

  352. Elizabeth Coleman Says:

I would like to see the book before I send info out. Thanks!

  353. Althea Thurston Says:

Because of where it came from..Dream University, I trust that it is good! I did send it on to about 10n people that I felt wouldn’t feel as if I were spamming them.

Thanks for this opportunity to learn something new and hopefully profitable.

  354. Marlene Says:

the process was easy to sign up. i just copied and pasted and went to my email program and sent out.
as for the book until i actually have it i cannot comment on that.

  355. Rosa Urso Says:

    Hi David,
I dont believe in co-incidences and I dont just accept any offer (Ask Bill Harris), he and I share a history. Anyway I am very Spiritual, not religious Spiritual and I listen to my inner and guides. Your offer is the second such indication of getting the words I receive out via the internet and share as I plan to do. Starting small, not really, STARTING! Normally, I would not take your offer as at the moment I have literally no money to donate and if I were to act from my old place of ego I wouldnt accept, however, the more I have the more I will have to give. So, I graciously accept your offer as I have had much guidance that this will be the way for me the ‘spread the word’ (lol). I look forward to sharing my success with you and sharing that I am gifted with to the universe. Thank You for making a difference. Rosa

  356. Marlene Says:

worked great now how do i get the book

  357. Larry Zimmerman Says:

Bill Harris from Centerpointe sent me the email.
Thankyou for the book,I look forward to reading it when it arrives.

  358. Larry Zimmerman Says:

Thankyou for the book. I look forward to reading it when it arrives.

  359. Christopher Lesso Says:

I was not comfortable inputting my password to my email and adding individual email addresses was cumbersome

  360. David Says:

The process was easy enough. I did not forward it to friends because I want to read it and try it out for myself first. If it seems good, then I will forward it to friends.

  361. eve Says:

Want to read it for myself first

  362. Anselm Says:

    I dont have any comment.

  363. Randall Says:

    Want to read it first

  364. John Says:

The process was very easy via Twitter.

  365. Tanya Says:

    The process was very easy..
    Thank you.

  366. Alison Says:

very clear process, though i’m starting to wonder how many more steps to go through before reading your content…

  367. peter Says:

too long winded for not having evaluated the contents of the book

  368. peter Says:

this is getting rediculous and I am running out of time

  369. peter Says:

    Bye

  370. Don Says:

Great idea, I like the concept but I to will wait until I read the book before I pass it on.

  371. howard Says:

i shared with my friends on facebook only because you seem to be a nice guy i dont know you or i have not read your book you could give a little more info if i had anidea of what it was about i would have shared with more friends through my email aswell wish you the best god bless

  372. Peter Bedard Says:

Well, there are no accidents and your book comes at the perfect time. I so look forward to reading it. As far as making it more attractive…the only thing I can think of is to apy me…that’s the only thing better than free!
    Peter Bedard, MA, C.Ht.
    xo

  373. Jilleen Says:

Easy to follow and a good concept thank you… see you soon

  374. Erica Ross-Krieger Says:

    Hi David,
Yes, it was an easy process. Only thing I can think of is that after I listed manually all the friends to invite, it didn’t have a link back to the page with the other 4 sharing methods (i.e. Twitter, etc) that were mentioned earlier.
So once I completed the email list, it took me here to the comments. also, it will be easier to promote once I actually get to read it myself:)

  375. Annely Says:

  376. Deb Says:

Very easy and great idea. Thanks so much and home to see more

  377. Nic Wicken Says:

The process was easy and quick (important!) the only reason I hesitated on sending to friends is because I don’t really know you and therefore whether my hard earned donation gets where it is going so something to establish credibility would help enormously I think. Look forward to seeing how it goes!

  378. Annely Says:

    What a great idea.

  379. Anita Says:

this was super easy! thanks so much!

  380. Alicia Says:

    Totally lost

  381. Rose Says:

This is such a great idea!!
I’m definately sending this out to my friends.
I will have to come up with a fundraising idea for college next semester and had thought of an ebook for a raising funds for Autism and this is such a great way to promote it.
I hope you leave a contact for this charity on your site so in the future after reading this book I as well as others may make a noteable contribution.
    Fantastic idea!

  382. David Huskey Says:

    I enjoyed your process.

It was easy and natural… I shared the message with about 5000 Twitter friends ad 500 FaceBook friends.

I really think your process is cool – and duplicatable.

  383. Karen Says:

I used Facebook…I figure it would get more coverage that way. :)

  384. Karen Says:

…but where’s my ebook????? There was no explanation for that, no indication that it was downloading…if it does’t manifest I”m taking your link off of FB…:(

  385. Steve Says:

The process was extremely smooth and easy. A fantastic idea!!

  386. Anne Says:

All very easy and seems like an excellent idea but I haven’t forwarded it to direct friends yet – only to facebook and twitter – as I want to read it before I send it to long- suffering friends!

  387. Rudolph Perme Says:

I haven’t gotten my e-mail copy. How do I do that?

  388. Rudolph Perme Says:

I have not as yet received my e-mail copy. How do I do that?

  389. Dan Says:

I thought that the process was easy, but I am so inexperienced at web advertising that I cannot offer any advice to improve one’s experience.

  390. Miriam Says:

    no luck yet

  391. Karsten Says:

The process was very smooth, and enjoyable! I love what your doing here and I would like to learn how to do the same. Keep up the good work :)

  392. James Wood Says:

Well it was very easy. and I am looking forward to reading the book.

  393. James Wood Says:

Yes i sent to my friend’s on my hotmail account. I am now looking forward to reading the book.

  394. Judy Says:

Hi, I do not have a credit card and no account on PayPal. If you accept cheques written on Canadian banks, let me know and I’ll happily donate to the Rainforest.

  395. Dave Says:

Just perfect just in time thank you was thinking of giving up on all of it again. so easy and kind

  396. David Wood Says:

    >>>>Rosa said: Normally, I would not take your offer as at the moment I have literally no money to donate and if I were to act from my old place of ego I wouldnt accept, however, the more I have the more I will have to give. So, I graciously accept your offer

    >>>from David: Rosa – good for you for accepting! Take it with love.

And I’ll make it clear in the video that the eBook comes via email!!! Loud and clear.

And you spoke, I listened. I’ll add the Table of Contents to the tell a friend page so people get a sense of the book first. That should help a lot. Maybe an excerpt too.

    >>>Guillermo said: David the rain forest of Chiapas is losing daily about some hundreds of hectáreas. This government has not done anything to stop it. Do you have someone to contact in México? If so I would in a tiny way help to stop this depredation.

Hey mate – I’ve sent your comment and email to the Executive Director of the Rainforest Foundation. Perhaps she can hook you up.

  397. Marilyn R Williams Says:

Hello David – thanks for the book – I really need it! Now to read and apply the knowledge.

The process was simple and easy. Especially helpful that paypal was an option.

I shared via Facebook and copied the email tag that I will use in other places, like my website and blog.

Good luck – hope this works as well as expected.

    Love, Marilyn

  398. Gopal Says:

Posted it on my Facebook page to share with all my friends who are into this kind of information.

Thanks for the free gift and may you be blessed many times over for sharing your abundant wealth of knowledge
    Gopal Jashnani

  399. Charles Says:

I would have preferred to have been able to get the Ebook first, then you can have added the pop ups.

Sharing was easy on Face Book, but I do not like sending ads to my email friends.

    Now go save the Rainforest!!!

  400. Bill Says:

When I get the e-book I will give feedback. I am still waiting for it to get to my inbox. So far it has not showed up. Even checked the spam folder and nothing. Will wait till morning and check again.

  401. Karen Says:

I thought the whole process was really enjoyable. I chose to publish on facebook. The rainforest is something close to my heart as is the whole planet and the dwellers on and in it. Thankyou for making this possible- givers gain will be generous to you. Blessings

  402. Jonathan Lake Says:

    Hi David

Really looking forward to the book. I found the whole process very easy.
I am passionate about crystal healing and just starting a business with it so this is very timely.

    Thank You

    Regards

    Jonathan

  403. Angela Says:

Liked the concept and your style but need to read the product before I send to friends – also with so many scams out there – I think you should give greater focus on your affiliations with the organizations your supporting. Just a quote from Susan is not enough for me to trust that the money is going there. I for one decided if I like the product, I will donate to the organization directly as my thank you then consider forwarding your offer to my friends

  404. David Wood Says:

Nice idea Angela – anyone have any ideas on how to add credibility? Placing the signed contract on the site might be a bit much…

  405. saidas Says:

your project seems novel & promising, good luck & God bless your venture.
I look forward to the book and shall be in touch.

  406. Kerri Tyler Says:

I’m looking forward to your enlightened viewpoints and can really use and appreciate what you will share. I’m in a major life transformation…all leading to a better life condition. Thank you for sharing as it seems to be a “win-win” situation for all concerned.

    Kerri

  407. Howard Says:

Very easy – no problems. I also like the idea of donating to worthwhile causes. Unlike some others, I’m probably not cautious enough and sent it all on to many acquaintances, just on trust!

  408. Colleen Says:

Very simple to use – no problems. It is good to know that good causes will benefit.

  409. Anne Says:

Hey David Thank you for the free E-book! I’ am looking forward to reading it.
I have not told my friends about you yet, I*ll read your book first, if it’s good and excellent —- then I tell about you! . There is too many very bad and not-good free E-book on the internet……… Anne

  410. Cyrus Says:

Process was very simple and your presentation was inspiring. I hope it works!

  411. Robert Says:

    David,
    thanks for the opportunity.
    keep doing what youre doing!!
    Rob

  412. Anthony Says:

The Process To Me Was Pretty Simple And I Love The Whole Concept Behind It David, But Definitely Let Me Check Out The Book First. I Do Have A Great Idea On How You Can Raise A Phenomenal Amount For Your Causes As Well. Please Get Back With Me Or View My Website. I Love Helping Those Who Love Helping Others. :)

  413. Rebecca Rose Says:

The offer is very interesting and the process was clear and easy. I did send the message to my friends. Thank you and good luck!

  414. Harvey Bearinger Says:

I found the process easy to follow. I am one of those people who does not forward much to friends. I certainly will not forward an offer for a book that I have not read even if it is to raise money for charity.

I look forward to reading it. If I feel it has value I will forward it.

    Be Well. Live Large.

  415. Jo Ann Galla Says:

I selected to donate toward a lap top thinking it would be a certain amount of money but to my surprise, I needed to have a lap top to donate. I don’t have one! No back button! Went back to e-mail and repeated process. I’m not skilled on computer so this was my best solution. Also lacking skills, I did not know how to get to the bottom of this page quickly to give helpful comment! Too many comments about great success! They are well deserved, however, maybe, they could be given in a separate category of comments and helpful hints given in a separate place! Hope this is helpful! God bless you!

  416. Frank Says:

This information appears before you have had a chance to read the book. Maybe after the person downloads the book and one week later a follow-up email is sent . Next give the link/account for the Charity so people will actually know that the charity is getting the funds. What percentage goes to the Charity Also.

  417. Judy Says:

Thank you David. The whole process was quick and easy. I look forward to reading the book. I agree with some of the other comments I’ve seen

    1) There’s too long a list of comments to go through to give yours. Many novices may be put off and not figure out how to leave a comment.
    2) Show the most recent comments 1st.
    3) Only show 3-5 comments on the page with an option to see more and then the “Leave a Reply.” will be much more visible.

    Thanks again!

  418. David Wood Says:

Hi Frank – 100% of funds go to the Charities – less whatever the credit card company charges me (quite small).

Still looking for ideas to reassure people about the charity – perhaps the email address of someone at the organizations? Or phone number!?

  419. Hari V Says:

    Hi David,

Thans for the e-book. I look forward to reading it. The process was very simple and I cannot think of any ‘improvements’ ! I did e-mail some of my friends.
    Thanks once again.

  420. Ken Jason Says:

No ideas as yet. new to this, used facebook to spread message. Got more people there than in my own adressbook.
Thanks for – haven’t checked yet..

  421. Kathy Says:

I sent it on to at least a dozen people I thought would benefit. Was easy and was actually easier than some sites. I did not import emails, but manually entered them.

  422. John Hatten Says:

    Hi,

I love the idea, but as a relative newcomer to blogging, I was kinda unclear on how to find this “Leave a Reply” place. It was only after I responded to the blog idea that I came to this page and was able to input this.

Thanks for all you’ve done: NOW I can read the book. … I just skimmed part of it and am QUITE impressed and encouraged.

    -John

  423. Kellie Says:

If the rest of my day were that easy and quick, I truely would be blessed!
Cannot wait to get the book and share with everyone!!

  424. Dan Ringler Says:

I sent out by email manually. Thank you for the book.

  425. San Lab Says:

    Simple & easy. Thx.
