We use packages a ton in our business-Dan Miller is an author and a life coach, and we understand that you can go out and buy used books very cheaply--so we have chosen to add special products and packages to really increase the overall value of our products. The "thump value" of a product is real--the more literal "thump" it has, the higher perceived value--so we make our packages full of great stuff! Not only that, but every time soneone gets a package from us, there is a "Wait!" label on the front that leads them to a personal Thank-you message from Dan for buying a product. We also include bonus mini-gifts in with the packages

hi guys - most of our calls are recorded.

And the Wealthy Gypsy Training Calls are now recorded and transcribed, which are available for a fee.

And John - if you're thinking I asked my production team to produce products with an error, then you're mind works in a very interesting way ;-)

Appreciate all your comments

I'm leaving my comments somewhat belatedly ;-)

Just found this, after completing your 30 day challenge!

And reading this draft, I rememberd exactly what first got my attention:

I chanced upon your second or third Wealthy Gypsy call just over a month ago, the one about "You have so much to share," and I was hooked! Whoa! No need to be perfect, like wtih Coach U...

Instead, I was tallying up my assorted life experience, like moving from Germany to California to go start graduate school, making it through there in one piece as a foreign student, actually getting a job -- as an English prof --, surviving cancer, making some major changes in my life to make it work better for me, becoming a poet, and so on and so forth.

Lots of life experience, and suddenly I realized that yes, I had a LOT to share!

And, well, a few weeks later I now have 3 coaching clients, and I'm working on getting lots more. Wooohooo! Thank you, David!

About your draft? I second what quite a few other people here were saying:

Get the book finished already! I want to read the whole thing!

Thank you for your inspiration and example.

P.S.: Was that first scene at Harbin Hotsprings?

Thanks to the "push" David gave us part way through the effort, I created code for my site to allow folks to sign up for my newsletter (now to be electronic), and it's on every page, as recommended. Total pain in the neck to get through, but now that I'm getting subscriptions, well worth the effort.

For those of you like me, who are too cheap to pay someone to do your html for you, your web hosting provider should have pre-canned html for this application that you can copy and customize. I use yahoo, myself, and it took some doing to figure out, but I did it. And, let's face it, if I can, anyone can. That's how all my coding gets done.

I also got the incentive to start a new aspect for my coaching business, and that is already proving a good choice. I apologize for the delay in this post, but I did not want to end without truly finishing.

25 invites (plus unbelievable amounts of networking, and joining two professional orgs I never would have considered previously)

3 exploratory sessions

2 total clients so far, both paying. One of the three sessions will become a pro bono as a favor to a friend. I refuse to take her husband on, though.

1 client paid me $300 up front.
2nd client paid $150 up front (this is a new business model I'm experimenting with)
1 unpaid client (who is formally starting next week)

Grand total of money received through this process: $450

Thank you, thank you, thank you to all of you, especially David and Beth.
