I invite you to go and do it. You can do a free trial, I believe. I haven’t checked recently but the last time I looked at getpaidforwhoyouare.com/pcs, get the auto-responder package. That’s $30 a month and you can get started. The alternative is to – as I mentioned in the book – if you’re on a very, very strict budget, you can go with MailChimp in the beginning and you’ll probably want someone to assist you with setting that up.
To set up your newsletter system so that even if you got four subscribers, four friends who come in you can be up and running and be ready to send out your first issue. The next step if it’s for bonus points put a sign up form on your website. So weebly.com, you can do it, MailChimp or work with Weebly, Professional Cart Solutions will work with Weebly and you’ll probably want some help to integrate the two so you might want, you know, I think you get x number of days of fund support with Professional Cart Solutions, use them. Say, “Hey, I need your help. Get me up and running so that people can sign up to my newsletter on Weebly.” It’s such an important step.
You can’t serve everyone with your time. You just can’t. You don’t have enough time. By having a newsletter, you can reach people and they can be circulating it around the world and you’re serving more people. It’s almost free to send an electronic newsletter. If you use mailchimp.com, that’s mailchimp.com – Sarah, maybe you can put that in the chatroom? – then for the first 500 people, they’ll let you use it for free. Now as you start getting up, I recommend you start with professional card solutions and you can find that, I’ll put that in here; getpaidforwhoyouare.com/pcs. Getpaidforwhoyouare.com/pcs, you can go to them directly as well. I became an affiliate for them so I do get extra revenue when people sign up which is one of the things that you can do as well as creating your own product is you’ll other services that you want to promote and you’re going to promote those and share in the revenue. This is the best that I found is the one that I use at getpaidforwhoyouare.com/pcs.

I’d love to get this letter to people who can most use it i.e. people who want [insert target market’s desire]. Would you picture these people in your mind now, and forward this issue to them with the note “Hey – thought you might want to subscribe to this”?
An easy way to start your subscribe list is with people you already know. To turn your current contacts into newsletter sub- scribers, don’t just dump all your contacts into your newsletter database. This is a huge mistake – I hate it when people assume I want to receive their newsletter just because I know them, and don’t give me the option to subscribe. Don’t you? You want people to opt in – you want their permission. So, here’s are two sample sample emails that you can send to your current con- tacts two days apart.
By doing this, you email people twice and that’s it. It’s a great way to share what you’re up to and to ask for help without spamming your friends.
Someone recently said to me, there are only two outcomes you want from your site: either A they buy a product or b they leave their email address. So, you want a newsletter plus a download. Give something of value. I am doing something new. I will give you about 10 different things for free passport membership. Little things like testers and tasters of other products. And they will sign up. And your version will be the newsletter sign up. So that’s critical.
